When we set the date for our friend Tom Hartwell (http://thomashartwell.net/) to come down from Maine to do Jackie O's photoshoot for her senior portrait, we had no idea what we'd capture on film. The night before our photo shoot Tom arrived in Bedford. We were primed to attend our Bedford Rotary fundraiser at https://www.facebook.com/flatbreadbedford. Most of our club members would be there eating pizza, saying "hello" to old friends and new. Of course we invited Evelina and the Inz family and we were so happy that they could attend. Jackie was especially excited to meet Evelina. And Evelina got up and gave her a big hug to say hello. We chatted a bit and happened to mention that Jacq was having her senior portrait session the next day. Becca mentioned that she has already had hers and that they were going to need to set one up for Evelina or she might not have a photo on the yearbook. And then I had a crazy, creative idea. What if she came with us on Jacq's shoot?? I popped back over to our table and asked our photographer for a favor and for his permission. Wonderfully, he said "yes" :) So 8 am the next morning, a sleep-eyed Becca and Evelina met at our house and we were off to The North Bridge in Concord for our session along the scenic Concord River. http://www.nps.gov/mima/index.htm The girls a) are gorgeous !! (two exclamation points) b) enjoyed each other's company c) had a laugh or two or three It was a beautiful morning in so many ways. I never would have imagined that we would have captured so many beauties!! Thank you Tom you are my favorite photographer. We owe you! xoxo, Christine |
